What’s Changing in Our Packaging?

You’ll notice new messaging on all of our Cosifit Newborn and Infant (Sizes 1-2) packs that reads “BABYLOVE USES RECYCLED PLASTIC” This isn’t just a label – it represents real change in our packaging composition, incorporating two types of recycled materials:

PIR (Post-Industrial Recycled Material):

The Environmental Impact

By incorporating 20% recycled content in our packaging, we’re:

Why Soft Plastic?

Our choice of soft plastic packaging is deliberate and environmentally conscious. While paper or biodegradable alternatives might seem eco-friendly, they actually must go to landfill in Australia. In contrast, our soft plastic packaging can be fully recycled through proper channels, supporting our commitment to reduce landfill waste.

Leading the Way in Industry Standards

BabyLove is proud to be among the first baby care brands in Australia to incorporate both PCR and PIR materials in our packaging. We’ve pushed forward with our 20% combined recycled content while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Our Commitment to Quality and Safety

While embracing sustainable packaging, we never compromise on quality:

While embracing sustainable packaging, we maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Our rigorous quality control ensures:

We want parents to feel confident that while we’re caring for the environment, we’re maintaining our unwavering commitment to your baby’s health and safety. The only difference you’ll notice is knowing you’re making a more sustainable choice.

How You Can Help: Recycling Our Packaging

Our packaging is fully recyclable! If you have access to a soft plastic recycling drop-off point, here’s how you can participate:

BabyLove actively supports and invests in soft plastic recycling schemes as part of our commitment to reducing landfill waste. We believe this is the most responsible choice we can make given current Australian recycling infrastructure.

Why We Choose Soft Plastic Over Alternatives

Our packaging choices are guided by real environmental impact. Paper packaging, while seemingly eco-friendly, must go to landfill in Australia. Biodegradable alternatives also end up in landfill due to current infrastructure limitation. Soft plastic, when properly recycled, can be repurposed into new products. This creates a circular economy opportunity that other packaging options cannot offer.

By choosing soft plastic with recycled content, we’re:
