ELE Sustainability Actions

B Corp certification

At ELE, we’re proud to be a B Corp, which means we work hard to balance delivering the best marketing and content services while staying committed to minimising our impact on the environment.

Green servers and renewable energy

Our email, file storage, and website are hosted on green servers powered by 100 percent renewable energy. ELE HQ, where Helen works, also runs entirely on renewable energy.

Paper and recycling policy

We promote a ‘two-bin’ policy to separate recyclable items like paper, cardboard, glass, tin, batteries, plastic, and compost waste. We’re committed to being as paperless as possible, with digital file storage and virtual meetings. When we do use paper, it’s recycled.

Refurbished equipment and recycling

We responsibly dispose of all electronic equipment. Computers are donated through IT Schools Africa, and other electronics go through local authority recycling. We prioritise refurbished equipment whenever possible.

Monthly environmental updates

Promoting our Environmental policy is a priority. We send out a monthly email packed with tips, ideas, and case studies to help the team reduce our agency’s impact on the planet.

Impact report guidance

Increasingly we’re working with firms that want to link their impact reporting to frameworks such as B Corp or EcoVadis, so that they can demonstrate progress within a recognised, global, framework.
