The Lucky Iron Fish™ is an innovative iron supplement, designed as a simple cooking tool that significantly boosts dietary iron intake. Shaped like a fish, a Cambodian symbol of luck, this product releases about 75% of the daily required iron intake and can be reused for up to five years. Originating from a need to combat iron deficiency in Cambodia, the project not only aims to improve health but also enhances local economies by sourcing and producing all materials locally with sustainable, recycled materials and in collaboration with local NGOs, social agencies, and cooperatives.
