NetNada was founded in 2021 by Afonso Firmo and Lochie Burke when the two founders so how hard it was for companies to adapt as sustainability was moving from a ‘nice to have’ to a ‘licence to operate’ because of mandatory climate disclosure arriving across regions like Australia, EU, UK, Singapore, and NZ.

It 2021, NetNada release a tool for small businesses to track their organisations carbon footprints by automatically reading data from Xero accounting platform. It quickly evolved to end-to-end operating system and in 2026 NetNada develops and maintains a software for enterprise carbon accounting and climate reporting requirements. 

NetNada was inspired by a vision to restore trust in corporate sustainability by enabling companies to improve their emissions, and prove them.

We started by automating the hardest, most manual part: spend-based carbon calculations. From those early days to building the climate reporting operating system that businesses run on, our vision hasn't changed.
