Renewable Energy in Manufacturing Operations

Sustainable Innovation Profiler Rollout

Neutrogena's parent company Kenvue has developed and deployed a patent-pending digital tool called the Sustainable Innovation Profiler, which enables product designers and packaging engineers to evaluate products across four environmental metrics: carbon footprint, green chemistry, packaging circularity, and broader environmental footprint. During 2024, the tool was used to evaluate 20 Kenvue product lines, documenting carbon footprint reductions of at least 16% per product assessed. Over 600 R&D employees have been trained to use the tool, with mandatory adoption for key design roles

EcoBeautyScore Adoption

Neutrogena became the first Kenvue brand to adopt the EcoBeautyScore system, launching initially in Germany across its face moisturiser and treatment products. EcoBeautyScore is a standardised, third-party-verified rating system that scores products from A to E based on full lifecycle environmental impact — covering ingredients, packaging, and consumer use. This move is part of Kenvue's broader Healthy Lives Mission to improve environmental transparency across its brand portfolio
