ESG Executive Council established

In 2020, the Company established the ESG Executive Council, chaired by the Vice President of Sustainability of APS and sponsored by the Senior Vice President, to determine strategy on energy-related issues, including ESG and climate-related issues.

CDP recognition for climate leadership

Pinnacle West has been recognized for leadership in corporate sustainability by global environmental non-profit CDP, securing scores of A- for tackling climate change.

Sustainability performance reporting

The company uses a number of sustainability performance indicators to measure progress and hold itself accountable, with data regularly published and made available for download.
