Published sustainability reporting

This commitment is further exemplified by our company’s transparency with the outside world, demonstrated through the annual publication of the Sustainability Report and the Impact Report.

Purchased certified wool

Throughout 2023, the Company focused on various activities. From an environmental perspective, Reda continued to purchase certified wool adhering to the highest market standards.

Recognised sustainable farms

In order to recognize and applaud those who have excelled in sustainability practices, two awards were presented during the year to the most deserving farms, aiming to further strengthen our supplier relationships and reinforce our commitment throughout the production process.

Improved wastewater treatment

Throughout the year, significant advancements were made at the Crocemosso wastewater treatment plant, implementing specific technological enhancements to refine purification processes and ensure greater recycling of treated effluents in the future.

Installed photovoltaic system

Furthermore, a third photovoltaic system was installed to decrease our reliance on the public grid and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.

Developed regenerated fabric prototypes

Our dedication to the development of a circular economy, continuous search for innovative solutions for waste reduction and resource optimization, has enabled us to create prototypes of regenerated fabrics from post-industrial waste, in collaboration with new production and commercial partners.

Implemented Microsoft Dynamics D365

The successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics D365 ERP represents another milestone for us. This system will enable the Company to effectively manage production flows, thanks to enhanced traceability of materials from input to output, with the possibility of ad hoc analysis at each stage of processing.

Signed new supplementary contract

In order to better value our employees, Reda has officially signed a new second-level supplementary contract, which includes, among other points, increased health protection, significant investment in welfare, and special attention to achieving a work-life balance.

Supported local communities

The ongoing commitment to protecting and promoting territorial and cultural development in the textile industry has been pursued through collaborations with associations, educational institutions, and guided tours with interest groups. Reda welcomed nearly a thousand people to its woolen mill in 2023 and supported various local associations through donations and sponsorships in line with the company’s mission and values.
