Sustainability Scholars Program

Over 350 UBC graduate students have completed applied research projects to advance sustainability throughout the region as UBC Sustainability Scholars. Scholars are paid to conduct projects for on- and off-campus organizations to advance their sustainability goals.

Sustainability Policy Adoption

In 1997, UBC became Canada's first university to adopt a Sustainability Policy, and a year later became Canada's first university to establish a Campus Sustainability program.

Climate Change Education

UBC Vancouver offers a course collection that showcases courses with climate change-related content, with each course covering multiple themes related to climate and sustainability.

Sustainability Coordinator Program

The Sustainability Coordinator Program provides UBC employees and researchers with opportunities and resources to promote and implement sustainable practices in their departments and research areas.
