Vinted is a peer-to-peer marketplace that promotes circular economy principles by enabling the reuse of goods, particularly clothing. The platform helps extend the life of garments, with research showing that extending clothing life by nine months can reduce carbon emissions by up to 10%. In 2023 alone, Vinted members avoided 679 kilotonnes of CO2e by purchasing second-hand instead of new items. Two-thirds of Vinted members actively choose second-hand options.
