Carbon emissions avoided through reuse

In 2023, Vinted members helped avoid 679 kilotonnes of CO2e by buying second-hand instead of new. In 2021, the net carbon emissions avoided by the Vinted Marketplace were 453 kilotonnes CO2e, equivalent to emissions from flying between London and another major city.

Climate action plan development

Vinted has developed an action plan to reduce emissions in line with climate science, using 2022 as the base year to set emissions reduction targets.
