A lifelong coffee producer, Hector Saavedra has been nurturing La Chirimoya since childhood. Today, he leads a collective of ten families in Cajamarca, working side by side to cultivate coffee that speaks to their shared pride and perseverance. Through partnerships with local coffee associations, Hector has helped shape their farms into emerging agritourism destinations, welcoming visitors to experience everything from farm tours to live coffee auctions. These initiatives not only honour the heritage of the region but also create lasting opportunities for the next generation of producers.
