The active oxygen technology works by releasing oxygen in water to help break down and lift stains from fibres. Dermatest certified and free from added fragrance, it is designed for use on everyday fabrics when used as directed. In independent laboratory testing against leading oxygen-based stain removers, Koh’s formula demonstrated superior stain removal on multiple common household stains when used according to instructions. Suitable for use as a pre-treat or in-wash booster, and compatible with both front and top-loading machines. The formula has been developed with attention to ingredient selection and wastewater impact. It does not contain chlorine bleach, phosphates or optical brighteners. Surfactants and other ingredients are selected for biodegradability in accordance with recognised detergent standards. Reduced sodium levels help minimise salt loading to wastewater systems compared with many traditional powdered oxygen bleach boosters. Suitable for septic and greywater systems when used as directed. GECA certification is currently pending. This standard assesses criteria including ingredient safety, biodegradability, restricted substances and environmental impact thresholds.
