Alpkit says it removed PFAS from all Alpkit-designed clothing.

Alpkit says it rehomed 20 tonnes of kit through its takeback scheme and Continuum Project, which has found a home for over 20 tons of outdoor gear through its network of charitable partners.

Fixing other brands gear for customers is described as Alpkit’s best selling product. Its down wash and repair service is presented as part of its repair offer, with 12,657 repairs completed and repaired by hand.

Worked on carbon reduction targets

In 2020, Alpkit committed to the Science Based Targets initiative. It later said it had hit its SBTi carbon reduction goal eight years early.

Alpkit says its 2025 sustainability report uses the GRI standards framework and that it has reported in accordance with the GRI Standards for the year to 31 October 2024.

Alpkit says it carries out an annual review of suppliers against its internal environmental matrix.
