Supports breast cancer research

For the past decade, Athletic Propulsion Labs has annually partnered with the WCRF, a charitable program of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation program, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. We donate proceeds from our limited edition Breast Cancer Awareness running and/or basketball shoes to support the innovative research, education, and outreach directed at the development of more effective approaches to the early diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of women’s cancers—most notably, the Breast Cancer Biomarker.

Donates to homelessness groups

APL continues to make wide scale footwear and apparel donations to the S. Mark Taper Foundation Resource Bank to assist with meeting the basic needs of the city’s homeless population in order to reverse the trend.

Supports youth disability programmes

Mychal's Learning Place provides the support, training and opportunities to youth and young adults with developmental disabilities to build their independence and pursue their goals and dreams. APL has been actively supporting their athletic programs, especially their basketball team, since 2017.

Funds design scholarships

APL has supported the scholarship fund and internship programs for Fashion and Product design as part of our commitment to fostering new and emerging design talent.

Supports children in poverty

Baby2Baby provides children living in poverty, ages 0-12 years, with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. In the last 8 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over 70 million items to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care, hospitals and under-served schools as well as children who have lost everything in the wake of disaster.

Supports entrepreneurship education

NFTE (The Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship) activates the entrepreneurial mindset and builds startup skills in youth from under-resourced communities to ensure their success and to create a more vibrant society. APL actively supports the NFTE mission through their Los Angeles scholarship program.

APL is proud to provide footwear donations to support this cause and their widespread humanitarian global efforts.

Supports fire relief donations

APL is currently supporting our home town of Los Angeles by actively donating shoes to the Shelter Partnership, Soles4Souls and Baby2Baby to assist those affected by the fires. We are LA Strong.

Launched merino-wool sneaker

The APL TechLoom Breeze Merino Wool, which boasts 80 percent Australian merino wool, is the California brand’s most sustainable and lightest running shoe to date. It’s also the first technical-knit shoe on the global market to be certified by the Woolmark Company.
