B Corporation certification

Aspect Capital is delighted to be a B Corporation, joining a network of over 5,000 like minded businesses. Being a B Corporation reinforces Aspect’s commitment to having a positive impact on society and the environment. We fully support the B Corp principles, which encourage all businesses to consider the impact of their decisions on employees, customers, suppliers, the community and the environment.

Certified in June 2022

Aspect Capital became a certified B Corporation in June 2022. The process took around 18 months from start to finish: we initially completed our impact assessment in January 2021 and received our certification in June 2022.

Re-certification work in 2025

Our second full year of being a certified B Corporation has been characterised by a continued focus on a number of ongoing CSR initiatives as well as incremental enhancements to our practices to align with objectives originally identified during the certification process itself. ... we gear up towards re-certification in 2025.

Employee-led charity committee

Our Charity Committee is made up entirely of employees and leads the firm's fundraising activity for our charitable partners. Aspect actively and meaningfully supports charitable causes and not-for-profit groups operating in the UK and around the world.

Surplus food redistribution

Our Charity Committee, recently spent a day at Fareshare in London to help redistribute surplus food to charities that turn it into meals.

Support for Magic Breakfast

We have been supporting the Magic Makers programme through our ongoing cause, Magic Breakfast, for a number of years. Our team wrap and deliver gifts for local school children to use during their breakfast club bringing fun at Christmas time. Magic Breakfast makes a difference to over 300,000 children and young people every day by offering breakfasts and expert advice to tackle morning hunger in schools across England and Scotland.

Financial education sessions

RedStart aims to put young people in control of their finances, and give them the skills to manage their financial futures. We have been pleased to host a number of sessions.

Workplace insight day

We recently hosted a workplace insight day with My Big Career for secondary school students. We practiced interview questions, negotiation skills and answered questions in a careers carousel.

Responsible investment policy

We aim to incorporate environmental, social and governance factors into our investment decisions where appropriate to do so, and continuously seek to minimise our impact on the financial markets in which we operate. Aspect is a proud signatory of the UN Principles of Responsible Investment.
