Audemars Piguet Sustainability Actions

ESG integrated in governance

At Audemars Piguet, we integrate sustainability into the highest decision-making processes with guidance from our ESG team and engagement with a network of external relevant stakeholders. This structure supports the Executive Leadership Team in upholding the highest standards in social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

Human rights due diligence

Respect for human rights is paramount, guiding our zero-tolerance approach to violations throughout our value chain. Our governance structure adheres to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance, with transparent reporting on conflict minerals, child labour and other human rights issues.

Responsible sourcing standards

Committed to ethical and secure supply chains, we collaborate with partners to set responsible industry standards and respect human rights from mine to wrist. By setting and tracking goals, we embed sustainability into our culture, sharing accountability and continuously refining practices to ensure traceability and ethical business conduct.

Supplier code endorsement

In 2025, all suppliers will endorse our Supplier Code of Conduct, developed in collaboration with industry partners, underscoring our commitment to a responsible and secure supply chain.

Ethical corporate programme

Business ethics are at the heart of our governance framework, establishing clear expectations for fair and responsible practices throughout our value chain. We are currently pursuing an ethical corporate programme to reinforce our commitment to ethical standards.

Responsible Jewellery Council certification

Our Responsible Jewellery Council certification and our memberships in initiatives such as the Swiss Better Gold Association among others, further align our practices with global best practices.

Women in workforce and management

In 2025, women represented 45,8% of our workforce and held 40 % of management roles.

EDGE certification achieved

By the end of 2025, we earned the EDGE certification, a global benchmark for workplace fairness & inclusion. This rigorous assessment framework evaluates our practices across four pillars: representation, pay equity, career paths and cultural inclusivity.

Equal-Salary and UN Women

This achievement builds on a journey initiated several years ago: the Equal-Salary certification obtained in Switzerland in 2021, the signing of the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles in 2024.
