French design firm AREP came up with something extraordinary: a giant bamboo installation that cools the air naturally. Inspired by ancient Egyptian techniques, it uses zero electricity. Instead, it channels hot air through a bamboo frame and a fine mist of water, lowering temperatures without the carbon footprint of modern AC.
