Expanded operating areas

Originally operating throughout Oxfordshire and Northumberland, BelleVie has recently expanded to serve Buckinghamshire and Newcastle.

Built self-managed teams

BelleVie is reinventing home care with self-managed teams. This approach gives Wellbeing Support Workers autonomy to deliver personalised care, ensuring they have the time and resources needed for each individual they support.

Created care technology

When the technology did not exist to support its vision of self-managing teams, BelleVie built its own. It co-designed the frameworks to power a bespoke technological platform called its Wellbeing operating system, and it now has an in-house care management app, The BelleVie Way, used every day by its teams.

Changed recruitment practice

BelleVie launched a radically different recruitment programme, replacing CVs with values-based surveys and swapping interviews for workshops. More than half of its new carers come from outside of the sector.

The vast majority of BelleVie’s team members are paid employees, rather than zero-hours contractors, and the company is proud to be an accredited Living Wage Employer.

Won 2024 awards

BelleVie won the overall ‘best in show’ Gold Grand Prix Winner title at the 2024 UK Homecare Awards, along with Golds for Best Palliative/End of Life Care, Best Innovative Technology, and Best for Staff Wellbeing.
