For more than fifteen years, BNP Paribas has been making strategic decisions in favour of a more sustainable economy and has therefore placed ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) topics at the heart of its business model.

Reduced fossil fuel support

BNP Paribas is committed to fostering the energy and ecological transition, and to aligning its activities with the objectives of the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate. It continuously reduces its support for fossil fuels and at the same time accelerates its financing for low-carbon energies.

Reduced campaign footprint

BNP Paribas reduced its carbon footprint by implementing eco-friendly production measures. These included using small local production teams that were managed remotely, or incorporating archived content in post-production. As a result, its average daily carbon footprint was 0.6 T CO2, which is significantly lower than its agency’s benchmark of 2.5 T CO2 per day.
