Embedded risk oversight

In 2025, we took further steps to integrate responsible business execution into our day-to-day operations. We met our commitment to embed more targeted risk oversight within transaction monitoring and payment processing, enabling the identification and flagging of sustainability-sensitive transactions.

Strengthened supply chain work

At the same time, we strengthened our approach to supply chain engagement by establishing a long-term roadmap and working with the UN Global Compact Network UK Sustainable Suppliers Programme, giving our suppliers access to enhanced support at no cost through our membership.

Achieved EcoVadis Platinum

Crown Agents Bank has been awarded the Platinum Rating by EcoVadis, one of the largest global and most recognised Sustainability rating agencies.

Completed Scope 3 analysis

We also completed our second full Scope 3 supply chain emissions analysis, laying the groundwork for future reduction targets. Overall, our total carbon emissions decreased by 17.3% year on year, including a 14.3% reduction in tracked location-based emissions from 2024 to 2025.

Expanded financial inclusion

Alongside this, we continued to expand trade finance, remittance and currency services in emerging markets, reinforcing our contribution to financial inclusion.

B Corp certification journey

Our B Impact assessment was based on 2022’s data; you can find our results within the investor relations ESG section, which cover a total of 300 questions on key policies looking at our company’s governance, employee satisfaction, community, and environmental impact. To become B Corp certified an organisation must score over 80... We achieved an overall score of 84.2 and we look forward to strengthening our score when we re-certify in three years.

Women in Finance Charter

In 2021 Crown Agents Bank became a signatory of the HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter. By signing up to the Charter we are making a commitment to promote gender diversity and support the progression of women in our industry.
