Built refillable medicine system

Cabinet Health’s medicine system includes glass pill bottles that are refillable, and it sells over-the-counter medications in compostable packaging. The company says it was founded in 2018 with the goal of eliminating single-use plastics from the pharmaceutical industry.

Launched with Target

Cabinet launched across the country with Target unique packaging on end-cap and in-aisle across allergy, pain, digestive, and cold & flu. Within just the first months of launch, Target helped reduce tens of thousands of pounds of plastic from entering the environment.

Raised funding for mission

The startup raised a $17 million debt and equity round on December 15, led by Global Impact Fund and participation from Natureza and Unreasonable Capital. This brought Cabinet Health's total funding to $23.6 million.

Certified B Corporation

Cabinet Health P.B.C. earned an overall B Impact Score of 88.4 and was certified as a B Corporation in May 2021.

Expanded retail and pharmacy

The company moved towards access and focused where most consumers currently buy their OTCs, physical retail and pharmacy. It has worked with retail and pharmacy partners to expand distribution and reduce plastic use in the medical field.
