Hosted Yellow Green Day

CALIDA AG hosted its inaugural CALIDA AG YELLOW GREEN DAY. The day was dedicated exclusively to the sustainability agenda, with a Climate Fresk workshop in the morning and speakers from the Swiss textile industry in the afternoon. The event focused on the origins and consequences of climate change, sustainable production and procurement, the recycling of textiles and the impact of a community connected in cause.

Developed sustainability projects

CALIDA said it was always striving to improve its sustainability performance. Building on existing sustainability projects, long term initiatives were being developed to ensure environmental, social and economic balance and minimise CALIDA’s footprint.

Uses European production

As a Swiss company, CALIDA said it had been making its products tangible for over 80 years, with the best materials, European production and the finest touch for maximum comfort.

Introduced ESG reporting

The CALIDA GROUP said it would further strengthen its positioning as a sustainability pioneer in the underwear segment by adopting the Global Reporting Initiative as the standard for its sustainability reporting. It also said it would enter the UN Global Compact in 2022 and align its financial reporting with UNGC principles.
