Launched Creating Impact strategy

We are pleased to share Colart’s 2024/2025 Impact Report with everyone. The report outlines the launch of its Creating Impact strategy, which is built on three pillars: Creating Value, Creating Sustainable Culture, and Creating Circularity.

Validated Net Zero plans

Colart has now had our Net Zero decarbonisation plans approved and validated by the science-based targets initiative (SBTi). This is where a third party has checked our carbon data and plans and said they are credible.

Joined SBTi Net-Zero Standard

We’re proud to announce that Colart is the first company in the art materials industry to commit to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Net-Zero Standard. Our goal: net-zero Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2035 and Scope 3 by 2050.

Partnered with Zevero

Colart initially partnered with Zevero to calculate product carbon footprints for selected SKUs, to improve accuracy and provide emissions figures per unit and per kilogram. Zevero also provided a centralised platform to support broader carbon footprinting efforts.

Modern slavery policy

Colart has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.
