Launched an ESG strategy

Colliers released a new ESG framework called "Elevate the Built Environment." ESG means environmental, social, and governance issues. Set science-based climate targets

Colliers said it would set a science-based target through the Science Based Targets initiative, or SBTi, a group that checks whether company climate goals match what climate science says is needed. It also committed to reaching net zero in its own operations by 2030. In addition, it said it would create a net zero program to help building owners, investors, and occupiers cut or remove emissions from buildings.

Created ESG leadership role

Colliers appointed a Global Lead, ESG & Impact to oversee its sustainability work. The role is meant to help set plans, build measurement systems, improve data governance, and report on sustainability performance. This shows the company is trying to make ESG part of day-to-day management rather than treating it as a side project.

Published a global sustainability report

Colliers released its 2025 Global Sustainability Report. The report says the company cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions, which are direct emissions from its own operations and emissions from purchased energy, by 32.2% from a 2021 baseline. It also says 42% of its electricity came from renewable sources and that 68% of offices received environmental or wellbeing certifications.

Expanded green building advisory

Colliers said it has provided green certifications and green advisory services in Hungary for more than 10 years. It said it has helped clients certify more than 50 buildings and office areas. This points to a long-running service line focused on helping property clients improve sustainability performance.
