Cornelia Webb presents its jewellery as being made with transparency, traceability and circularity in mind. The brand says it works with recycled metals, ethical mining, small-scale production, renewable energy for much of its production, and climate-compensated shipping. It also describes a circular silver initiative, recycled and recyclable FSC-certified packaging, and support for coral reef restoration in Bali. The company states that it is working to align its business with science and to move away from “business as usual” toward more sustainable solutions.

Cornelia Webb Sustainability Actions

Recycled metals and circularity

Cornelia Webb works with non-virgin metals, meaning the metals are recycled and continue their life cycle with us. For Cornelia Webb Atelier and the Made-to-order segment the recycling is done by C-HAFNER in Germany and imported to Sweden by NSG. 100% recycled. For the Ready-to-wear Made in Italy segment the recycling of silver and brass is done locally in Arezzo by TCA, CHIMET and ITAL PREZIOSI. 98% recycled.

Silver Circularity Project

The Silver Circularity Project simply described deserted Sterling silver jewellery is recycled and transformed into new objects, bearing the energy of both the present and the past. As a customer you become a part of this chain by trading in Sterling silver and in return you receive the value as a voucher for a future purchase of another recycled Sterling silver piece.

Renewable energy in production

Renewable energy for main part of production. Italy runs on solar, Sweden on water and Bali is working on shifting to solar energy.
