The main reference point is the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a comprehensive sustainability plan approved on 25 September 2015 by UN Member States at the UN General Assembly. It outlines 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), broken down into 169 targets to be achieved by 2030.
