ETI membership since 2012

As active members since 2012 we continue to work with our supply base to improve the working conditions and wellbeing of the workers, ensuring that the facilities follow best practices in the working environment. All of our suppliers are required to comply with the base code and participate in regular audit assessments.

Supplier sustainability scorecard

We’ve used a scorecard-based system to evaluate our supplier base for over a decade. Following on from, we have now created and implemented a supplier sustainability scorecard across the business, for all non-product suppliers. The scorecard will allow us to monitor key non-product supplier’s sustainability initiatives and better understand their capabilities.

Modern slavery due diligence

We take the care of our staff seriously and have a zero-tolerance approach to Modern Slavery within our operations and supply chain. Our work on modern slavery continues to extend further into our wider supply chain. We want to act as leaders in our field, making changes, having conversations, allowing voices to be heard, understanding risks, and preventing exploitation throughout by following a robust due diligence.

Regatta Health Education Programme

We have run the RHEP Programme since 2017 in our factories in Bangladesh. The programme educates and empowers our female workers in health and nutrition, Health and Safety in the workplace, gender equality, discrimination, violence and harassment. Over time, we have reached over 15,500 workers who then pass on their knowledge to their own communities.

Savar Primary School support

The Savar Primary School in Dhaka, Bangladesh has been funded by Regatta Group for over 14 years. It offers life-changing education for children in a safe and exciting place to learn and grow. There are currently 262 students between the age of 4-14, including 58 children with learning or physical disabilities.

Higg Index membership

We are proud members of the Higg Index to measure, monitor and improve our sustainability practices. Our involvement with the Higg Index allows us to implement improvements where required and progress our environmental sustainability efforts throughout our supply chain.

CDP reporting since 2021

As a requirement of the UNFCCC, we have been conducting CDP reports since 2021. Our first achieved a grade B, with an A- in Supplier Engagement. On 26th July we submitted our CDP report for 2022.
