Conflict-free diamond sourcing

In today’s market, 99% of diamonds in the marketplace are conflict-free. To prevent conflict diamonds from being imported and exported throughout the market, the diamond industry established the Kimberley Process. This vital process regulates trade in rough diamonds. It aims to prevent the flow of conflict diamonds while aiding to protect legitimate trade in rough diamonds. We proudly purchase conflict-free stones only.

Zero-tolerance diamond policy

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards conflict diamonds and diamonds that warranted harm. We ensure this policy through measures such as the Kimberley Process, which tracks diamonds from mine to market, the industry in partnership with the United Nations, governments, and non-governmental organizations. We only purchase diamonds through the most respected suppliers who, like us, adhere to and enforce the Kimberley Process.

Lifetime maintenance service

Each piece of merchandise includes free maintenance for life. The complimentary maintenance includes: polishing, rhodium plating, cleaning, and inspections – without ever leaving our store in San Diego. For those who cannot do so, we also allow for the item to be shipped to us for maintenance.

Diamond trade-up program

At David & Sons, we understand that as time goes on one may wish to upgrade their engagement ring. As such, we offer our Diamond Trade-up program. If, at any time, one decides to upgrade their significant diamond on the engagement, 100% of the original purchase price of the stone will be applied toward the new upgrade of greater value.

Community donations

We give back to our community to positively impact others. Our business donates to many prominent local organizations and individuals. Some of our donations include, but are not limited to: Adopt a Family, Jewish National Fund, Jteen, Camp Let Loose, San Diego Gift Closet and San Diego Jewish Academy.
