Didriksons presents sustainability as part of its operations across design, production, logistics and social issues. The company says it aims to create products that last for a long time through timeless design, careful choice of colours, long-term relationships with customers and producers, and development projects. Its sustainability report 2024 is described as its first report inspired by the CSRD framework. Didriksons focuses on reduce, reuse and recycle, including repair kits, Extend Size for children’s clothing, recyclable polyester in some waterproof garments, and the use of single-component materials to support future recycling. It also works with selected suppliers, a code of conduct based on ILO core conventions, and several industry initiatives and certifications.

Published 2024 sustainability report

The Board of Directors of Didriksons Group Holding AB hereby presents the Group’s Sustainability Report for 2024, prepared as a separate report to the Directors’ Report in accordance with Chapter 6, Section 11 of the Swedish Annual Accounts Act. This report is Didriksons’ first sustainability report prepared with inspiration from the latest regulatory framework as a result of the European Parliament and Council Directive (EU) 2022/2464, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Uses repair and Extend Size

Didriksons designs and produces clothing that will last a long time, offering repair kits and providing features such as its Extend Size function for children’s clothing. Its kids’ clothing also has name tags with space for several names, as it wants to encourage the practice of items being passed on once outgrown.

Uses recyclable polyester

Since 2018 several of Didriksons’ waterproof garments have been made from recyclable polyester. The company promotes the use of single-component rather than mixed materials in order to facilitate future recycling processes.
