Dunlop Foams Sustainability Actions

Environmental Choice

Our Dunlop Foams products are 100% recyclable. We cleverly reuse all captured waste that is then used to manufacture other products such as carpet underlay. Dunlop Foams works hard to ensure that through advanced manufacturing processes, we are continuing to reduce harmful emissions. A number of our foam grades have been accredited by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA).

Research & Development

We're proud of our heritage and reputation for combining leading edge innovation, expertise and world-class operations to produce products of the highest quality. Dunlop Foams has a dedicated research and development team that's constantly working to develop and foster new and innovative ways to make our products.

Industry Partnerships

We are committed to bringing the best foam products while also caring for the environment. So Dunlop Foams has teamed up with partners Ultra Fresh and Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) to help us ensure our business is working to protect the world we live in.

Furntech-AFRDI

Furntech-AFRDI works to help raise sustainable and environmental standards for furniture manufacture. By working closely with industry bodies, Furntech-AFRDI oversees independent professional testing and credible product certification both here in Australia and overseas. It’s testing and certification gives manufacturers credibility in market by carrying the Furntech-AFRDI logo or Blue Tick. The Dunlop Foams Enduro Protect range has been Blue Tick certified because of its performance, function and safety testing.

Australian Chiropractors Association

The Australian Chiropractors Association represents around 3000 members through the underlying principle of a 'healthy spine, healthier life'. Formerly The Chiropractors Association of Australia, the ACA is now the largest chiropractic health body in Australia. Dunlop Foams works closely with the ACA to ensure its chiropractic products meet required standards.

Project Zero

In 2019, we launched Project Zero across all our markets. Project Zero is the journey we are undertaking towards a more sustainable future as a leading Australasian business. As part of this project, we have made a commitment to creating bedding and flooring products that are gentler on the planet and working towards a more circular process.

Supporting local

Dunlop Foams proudly upholds its commitment to local. We manufacture foams in Australia, relying on local suppliers, workers, and materials whenever possible. And this commitment to local extends to our entire supply chain: minimizing reliance on carbon-intensive international transportation, reducing greenhouse gases and prioritizing sustainable production methods.
