East West Tea Co. LLC has been a Certified B Corporation since June 2014.

Based in Eugene, Ore., East West Tea Company is one of four local Certified B Corporations, and the only LEED-certified tea production facility in the world.

Environmentally preferred practices

As part of their commitment to their community and planet, they have implemented environmentally preferred practices, support organic farming practices in their supply chain, and work with organizations in their local community and across the globe through partnerships that empower others to achieve their greatest potential and live vibrant lives.

Farm-level transparency

We’ve made great strides, including foundational work such as achieving farm-level transparency in over 90 percent of cases.

Cardamom emissions audit

After a carbon emissions audit, completed in June 2021, we discovered that cardamom, a mainstay ingredient in many of our teas, was having a significant effect on our overall footprint.
