Established in 2009

Established in 2009, Eco-Business is Asia Pacific’s leading business intelligence and advisory platform dedicated to advancing sustainable development.

Aligned work with SDGs

Our work is aligned with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and supported by a 15-year archive of news, analysis, research, and events on sustainable development topics.

Launched EB Impact

In 2019, Eco-Business helped to launch EB Impact, an independent Singapore-registered charity delivering youth and education programmes aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Carbon neutral since 2017

Eco-Business has been carbon neutral since 2017. Each year, we produce an impact report and reduce our emissions across our business as much as possible. We purchase renewable energy offsets for emissions we cannot avoid.

Launched The Liveability Challenge

The Liveability Challenge (TLC) is an annual global initiative that seeks innovative, groundbreaking solutions to address urban challenges in the tropics. It crowd-sources the world for the best sustainability solutions and provides both the funding and ecosystem support required to take these ideas from laboratory to market.

Ran sustainability training

ESG and Sustainability in Asia: A Business Strategy is an essential capacity building programme targeted at business leaders and professionals who want to deepen their knowledge and application of ESG strategies for business performance.

Partnered on EcoBank

In 2016 and 2017, Eco-Business collaborated with City Developments Limited to launch EcoBank, an annual initiative involving a marketplace and silent auction of second-hand items, aimed at encouraging responsible consumption through collaboration between the private and public sectors.

Developed OCBC Climate Index

Eco-Business also partnered with OCBC Bank in the development of the OCBC Climate Index, a measure of environmental sustainability awareness and climate action among Singaporeans.
