Employee Volunteering Group Limited Sustainability Actions

Founded in 2006

Employee Volunteering was founded in 2006 by Dewi Thomas, who recognised a growing gap between intention and impact in corporate volunteering.

Delivers SDG-aligned programmes

Employee Volunteering works with businesses to deliver high-impact volunteering programmes aligned to company purpose, values and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Manages volunteering programmes

Employee Volunteering scopes, designs and manages high-impact volunteering programmes tailored to company culture and strategic priorities. It delivers in-person volunteering, remote and virtual volunteering, skills-based and strategic volunteering, long-term charity partnerships, leadership engagement programmes and SDG-aligned initiatives.

Supports environmental volunteering

Environmental volunteering generates genuine, reportable evidence. How many trees were planted, how many hectares of habitat were restored, how many kilograms of waste were removed, how many hours were contributed and how many employees took part. That evidence maps directly to the UN Sustainable Development Goals that matter most in this space: SDG 13 on climate action, SDG 14 on life below water and SDG 15 on life on land.

Supported The Grove Primary School

The Grove Primary School: Supported outdoor school area maintenance; cared for 600 trees and shrubs in forest area; cleared weeds to help young plants thrive; tidied pond edges and trimmed shrubs; cleaned school windows for a brighter environment; brought colleagues together for community impact.
