Enabling Qapital AG Sustainability Actions

Invested in microfinance

We invest globally in microfinance institutions, banks, and other financial intermediaries to expand access to finance for underbanked populations and businesses.

Facilitated clean cooking finance

Starting from 2022, we have been facilitating investments in companies across clean cooking supply chains. We offer debt and quasi-equity financing to companies involved in manufacturing, distributing, and financing cooking fuels and appliances in Africa.

Invested in sustainable bonds

We invest in listed sovereign and corporate bonds (including green, social, and sustainability-linked instruments) issued by emerging and frontier market borrowers. Our investment approach integrates rigorous ESG analysis and active engagement in line with frameworks such as the ICMA Green Bond Principles and SFDR Article 9.

Launched CRED product

On September 10, 2021, Global Parametrics and Enabling Qapital announced the joint development of the Climate Resilience Enhanced Debt (CRED) product. The first CRED transaction was signed with Chamroeun, a leading microfinance institution in Cambodia, and targets Chamroeun’s agricultural lending portfolio of approximately 5,000 smallholders with protection against severe drought and flooding.

Achieved B Corp certification

Achieving and maintaining B Corp certification is a significant milestone, reflecting a commitment to meeting verified standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
