Started clothing reuse collection

On March 28, 2024, Sanyo started clothing collection activities based on reuse under the collective name "SANYO RE: PROJECT" at all directly managed stores and some branded stores in department stores. The company said it would reuse collected clothes as much as possible, including resale, before recycling them.

Sold reused products

"Sanyo Shokai Certified Reuse Items" are sold at the Sanyo G&B Outlet Ochiai and Shiomi stores, and Sanyo Outlet Store Shonan Hiratsuka. The reused products are selected from collected clothing and miscellaneous goods, then sorted, cleaned, finished and inspected according to the company's own standards.

Joined Green Down Project

As a member of the "Green Down Project", Sanyo Shokai collects down products at some of its stores in order to contribute to the realization of a "feather recycling cycle society".

Participated in KISARAZU

On June 8, 2023, Sanyo participated as a partner company in KISARAZU CONCEPT STORE and exhibited dead stock of warehouses in some brands. The company said the initiative would promote efforts to reduce waste and reduce CO2 emissions by minimizing inventory waste.
