First Focus Sustainability Actions

Replace petrol vehicles with electric vehicles

As older vehicles are retired from service, we will replace them with electric vehicles.

Maintain a certified system in accordance with ISO 14001:2015

The ISO 14001 certification relates to Environmental Management Systems. First Focus is one of a handful of MSPs operating in Australia to have this certification, along with the Quality Management (9001) and Information Security (27001).

100% of e-waste is disposed of responsibly

We have partnered with certified e-waste recyclers to help ensure any e-waste we generate (including on behalf of clients) is dealt with responsibly.

Recycling 100% of waste that can be recycled at Branch Offices

Internal awareness campaigns and structural changes to waste disposal make it convenient for staff to sort waste into appropriate disposal categores, including general recyclables, e-waste, and soft plastics.

Switch to 100% recyclable paper for internal document printing

All internal documents are printed on 100% recycled and recyclable paper.

Transition all interior and exterior lighting to low-impact LEDs where feasible

Our branch offices use low-impact LED lighting where possible. Where the replacement of existing lighting is not possible (due to rental agreements and other factors) First Focus has chosen to increase the amount of carbon offsets allocated to these offices.

Offsetting carbon emissions to the point where we are climate positive

First Focus offset 463 tonnes of CO2 in 2021 - and over 1389+ tonnes since inception - by partnering with Carbon Neutral. By over-compensating for our remaining emissions, we have reached a net climate positive position to reverse our impact on the environment.
