We have mapped 100% of tier 1 suppliers across all territories and we are actively driving efforts to improve visibility across all tiers. We uphold social and ethical compliance across our supply chain through regular audits, supplier engagement, and alignment with international frameworks where relevant.

Diverted textile waste

The Foschini Group (TFG) has tried to curtail the effects of the industry by diverting 411 tonnes of textile waste and rolling out reusable shopping bags, according to its 2024 sustainability report.

Delivered sleeping bags

TFG, Taking Care of Business (TCB), a non-profit social enterprise, and Matdoc Projects, a Safe Spaces partner of the City of Cape Town, have teamed up to support people experiencing homelessness, promote entrepreneurship, and reduce textile waste. The first batch of 2,500 sleeping bags made from upcycled store materials and recycled fabric waste supplied by TFG was delivered to Safe Spaces.
