Renewable energy and recycling

We use renewable energy sources wherever possible, and track our efforts to conserve and minimize energy consumption. We recycle at every level of our operation, including resin, film, paper, cardboard, ink cartridges, solvents, inks and more.

We form alliances with our suppliers to reduce packaging, recycle materials and reuse components in the supply chain.

We continually seek opportunities to partner with customers on new sustainability initiatives. We actively explore the latest developments in resin technologies including Post-Consumer and Post-Industrial.

Certified sustainable green printer

In 2009 we were the First Certified Sustainable Green Printer in North America (Wide Web Flexo Category). We continue to maintain a robust sustainability management program and every day we track our progress and share best practices.

Polyethylene Repelletizing, Plastic Pallet Program, Energy Efficient Equipment and Lighting, Employee Health and Wellness Programs, Recycling Programs with clients, PIR and PCR content materials, Community Initiatives (Food Drive, Toy Drive, SPCA).

Paperless and lower-travel operations

For the fifth year in a row, Global Pack Source has continued to reduce our company carbon footprint. Annually working towards a paperless office, instituting staff flex work schedules, using remote work sites, providing technology to help reduce staff travel.

Recyclable and recycled materials

Post-Consumer Resin: Made from recycled plastic – reducing the amount of plastic in landfills. Sugar Cane: Made from 100% renewable sugar cane. 100% Recyclable: Both tube and cap are made from the same material so the entire package can be recycled together.
