Sustainability Summary
- This is an unclaimed profile. Hassia has not joined Sustainability Tracker to verify their sustainability credentials. We gathered what we could from public sources.
Hassia presents its Responsibility concept as a summary of its sustainability approach, focused on the careful use of resources and respect for nature and people. The company says it produces its shoes in its own factory in Martfű, Hungary, and works with durable materials so products last longer. It uses certified leather from animals from the meat industry, materials such as Eukalyptusholz for laces and soles with a high share of sugarcane residues, and packaging from FSC-certified forestry and recycled paper. Hassia also states that it reduces solvents, uses short supply routes, recycles leather remnants, and invests in energy-saving machines and renewable energy.
