Covered owned sites with renewable electricity

In 2022, 100% of electricity consumption at its owned facilities was covered by electricity from renewable sources.

Reduced packaging plastic

By reducing the size of its packaging, the company says it has decreased plastic usage by between 14% and 26% compared to bottles with equivalent content. It also reduced jar size from 15.2 g to 11.2 g of plastic per jar and cardboard box height from 96 mm to 80 mm.

Established CLEW committee

Australia and New Zealand established a committee called CLEW, which stands for Celebrate Life Every Way, to support progress on diversity, equity and inclusion. The committee is made up of 26 team members who have volunteered to help promote the culture of diversity and inclusion.

Engaged Anthesis on B Corp

In 2021, the H&H’s Australian and New Zealand business engaged Anthesis to assist it navigate the B Impact Assessment, to measure and manage its social and environmental impact. H&H ANZ submitted its B Corp application in February 2022 with a score of 105.7 points and is awaiting approval from B Corp.

During National Reconciliation Week, Swisse Wellness celebrated its partnership with The Long Walk Trust and brought its team together to learn, connect and take action in support of a Reconciled Australia.
