Cut emissions by 37%
In 2021, Hera committed to a science-aligned climate strategy by committing to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 37% by 2030, compared to 2019 levels, by joining the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
2050
Reach net zero emissions
Hera Group has made public its commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 through its climate transition plan, with a gradual reduction of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by around 90% compared to 2019 levels, and the neutralisation of the remaining emissions at the end of the decarbonisation pathway.
2028
Business plan to 2028
The Hera Group’s Board of Directors has approved the business Plan to 2028. Over the 2024-2028 period, the business Plan calls for total investments amounting to 5.1 billion euro.
