Launched a Swap Shop

House of Holland has announced a new ‘Swap Shop’ – a chance for customers to shop for new clothing in a more sustainable way. "It’s part of our ongoing mission to increase the life span of garments and reduce our contribution to fashion related waste as much as possible," said the brand in a statement.

Ran pre-loved clothing swaps

The Swap Shop was operating at House of Holland's East London sample sale, running from November 6 through to November 10 at 14 Hanbury Street, London E1 6QR. Customers were able to bring along their existing House of Holland items in exchange for a £5 credit note (per item) against any new purchases they make on the day. They could also bring any other piece of clothing for a simple swap for any of the other pre-loved items.

Explored circular practices

"We’re looking at how to introduce more circular and sustainable practices across the business at every level and that includes at our clearance sales. I make pieces that I want to bring joy and to be loved and treasured so why not offer that piece another chance to bring joy another life, another wardrobe," explains creative director Henry Holland.
