Energy efficiency projects

we are investing along the MÜNZING group in various energy efficiency and energy recovery projects which will reduce the Green House Gas emissions of the group and generate a positive impact on the environment, on our customers and the society.

Sustainability reporting

Our Sustainability Reports provide comprehensive information on our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance for the given years. These reports have been prepared in alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directing (CSRD) and with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.

EcoVadis gold status

Since 2017, MÜNZING is taking part in the sustainability assessment with the international rating agency EcoVadis. EcoVadis analyzes sustainability performance of companies in four categories – Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. With a score of 76/100, MÜNZING has been awarded a “gold medal” for 2025/2026.

EcoZert certification

MÜNZING has been awarded the EcoZert Certification from Creditreform for outstanding sustainability. This seal of quality confirms our economic stability and our sustainable management.

Water use reduction

our German production sites are equipped with wastewater treatment systems to ensure that no harmful substances enter the public wastewater system. Furthermore, we were able to reduce fresh water consumption at our Heilbronn production site by 11 % from 2021 to 2022 by efficiently designing production processes.

Photovoltaic panels installed

We have installed Photovoltaic panels at our Headquarter in Abstatt, and we are planning to expand this initiative to other locations.

UN Global Compact membership

MÜNZING is proud to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) since 2024. This means we are committed to doing business responsibly by aligning our strategies and operations with the UNGC’s Ten Principles, which cover human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
