Organised a sustainability panel

ilka studio™ | Certified B Corp was mentioned for “pushing that narrative” during a panel in Glasgow on how designers can drive positive environmental and social change. The session brought together designers to discuss sustainable practice and how to make sustainability more practical in design work.

Used action frameworks

During the breakout sessions, Design Declares cards were used with a sphere of action framework. The three stages were described as “Control → what you can do today”, “Influence → how you affect others tomorrow”, and “Advocate → who’s doing this well that you can champion”.

Promoted transparent improvement

The discussion highlighted “transparent honesty about limitations whilst remaining open to getting better.” It also encouraged designers to invite scrutiny, welcome alternative approaches, and seek broader perspectives for improvement.
