Became B Corp certified

In 2022, Intense Wines became the first company of its kind to achieve B Corp status. Intense Wines is the first Dutch winery and trading company to receive this certification.

Uses organic and biodynamic producers

We work with both biological and biodynamic producers. Intense Wines chooses to go further than what is strictly necessary for organic labels and values a holistic way of producing wines, with respect for nature and the local environment.

Promotes lower-sulfite wines

Our wineboeren gebruiken standaard zo min mogelijk sulfiet en suiker. Wijnen bevatten, naast alcohol ook nog sulfieten en suikers. Om gezondere wijnen te maken, concentreren we ons ook op die drie aspecten. Sulfietvrije wijn, suikervrije wijn en wijn met lager alcoholpercentage are listed as Fit Wine options.

Supports Fair Trade projects

Intense Wines has been supporting various Fair Trade projects for over 15 years. The company says it is an official licensee of Fair Trade international (FLO) and that Fair Trade wines are a significant part of its portfolio.
