Uses recycled materials

All plush items contain 100% recycled polyester filling, and ECO items are made from at least 90% recycled materials, inside and outside. The company says it is dedicated to crafting plush products with as many recycled materials as possible.

Became B Corp certified

Bon Ton Toys became a B Corp certified plush company and received its certificate in September 2023. It says the certification is a testament to its commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices.

Joined 1% for the Planet

As of June 2024, Bon Ton Toys is a certified member of 1% For The Planet, a global network of companies that pledge to donate at least 1% of their annual sales to environmental organisations.

Donates to WWF

For 30 years, Bon Ton Toys has maintained a partnership with WWF, donating at least 3% of sales to support conservation work. The company says 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the partnership.

Uses ICTI-certified factories

Its factories are certified by the ethical supply chain program for toys and children’s products. ICTI covers working hours, voluntary overtime, legal and fair pay, no child labour, no forced or involuntary labour, dignity and respect, no discrimination, freedom of association, written labour contracts, and safe working conditions.
