To us, responsible design means quite simply, making better choices. Throughout our almost-twenty years in business, we’ve always been guided by integrity. This means being transparent across all facets of our operations – from design practices to partnerships with suppliers. Integrity has driven our decisions from the beginning and continues to be our guide today.

Artisanal community collaborations

Through our continuing collaborations with artisanal communities, we platform their work, provide them with ongoing economic opportunities and help keep traditional craftsmanship alive. This is an ongoing way we use our business for good.

Philanthropy and partnerships

Philanthropy and social entrepreneurship is a passion of our founders and an ongoing business priority. Giving, whether it be opportunity, funding or a platform for empowerment is central to the brands philosophy. Some of our previous charitable partnerships include Too Good Co, Taronga Conservation Society and Yarrenyty Arltere Artists.

We invite all of our staff and collaborators to show up as themselves and recognise that our brand is greater than the sum of its parts. Diversity and inclusivity play important roles across our entire business. We value the unique talents and contributions of our staff and provide training opportunities for them to learn & grow.

Responsible Design Roadmap

We are in the process of completing our Responsible Design Roadmap in collaboration with sustainability consultancy Sonzai Studios. Our future initiatives, objectives and guidelines will be internationally benchmarked against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for impactful progress.
