JOLYN also says its fabrics are made in knitting mills that meet Global Recycled Standards, and that its main sewing facilities are WRAP certified. The company has packaging standards that include compostable outer shipping packaging and recycled plastic inner sleeves, and it supports ocean, women’s, and animal-related charities.

JOLYN Sustainability Actions

Durable swimwear design

We believe that sustainability is about more than just making our suits from recycled materials - it's also about making products that will last. That's why we take the time to ensure our swimwear will last for years to come, not just one or two seasons. We use the highest quality fabrics and threads that are chlorine and saltwater resistant and will not fade in the sun. Construction details such as continuous band straps that evenly distribute tension and reinforced stitching at stress points also help ensure the longevity of our swimwear.

PFAS and BPA-free fabrics

None of our fabrics contain PFAS, BPA, or any other dangerous chemicals.

GRS and WRAP facilities

All our swimwear fabrics are made in knitting mills that meet Global Recycled Standards (GRS). Our two main sewing facilities are WRAP certified ensuring: Compliance with laws against forced, trafficked, or child labor; Fair payment of wages; 8 hour work days with lunch and rest breaks; On site medical care; Commitment to environmentally responsible production.
