Launched sustainable finance course

Kanopy AM a le plaisir d'annoncer le lancement d'un cours de finance durable avec l'université Paris-Dauphine dans le cadre du Master 272 sous la houlette de Thierry Béchu et Jean Jardel, respectivement CIO et responsable de l'analyse quantitative chez Kanopy AM, et avec le soutien précieux et bienveillant de Philippe Bernard, responsable du Master 272 - Economic and Financial Engineering - Paris Dauphine University.

Covered climate and finance topics

Le premier cours a été consacré principalement au changement climatique, à ses causes et ses conséquences dramatiques si rien n'est fait. Afin d’éviter la grande catastrophe et ses conséquences, comme la famine, les épidémies, les migrations de masse, les guerres…, tout doit être entrepris pour s’aligner à l’Accord de Paris qui permettrait de maintenir la hausse des températures sous les 2°C au niveau global et limiter l’ampleur du désastre…

Presented sustainable finance ecosystem

La deuxième séance du cours a permis de présenter l’écosystème de la Finance Durable en commençant par un rappel historique avec les étapes charnières : Rapport Meadows, Première COP, sommet de la Terre à Rio, Rapport Brundtland, COP21 et Accord de Paris, COP 28 et transition hors des énergies fossiles. Les grandes initiatives onusiennes ont ensuite alimenté la réflexion et abouti à des engagements précis de la part des entreprises ou des acteurs de la finance (Global Compact, PRI, ODD, CDP…).

Nous avons notamment insisté sur la partie gestion d’actifs avec les Green Bonds Principles et l’application pratique d’un fonds durable d’actions cotées en prenant bien sûr exemple sur Kanopy Active Climate Transition !
