Kinraden Jewellery Sustainability Actions

Uses recycled precious metals

We choose to work exclusively with recycled 18k gold and sterling silver, once used in the tech and medical industries. Through a delicate purification process, these metals are reborn — refined to their purest form without drawing on new resources.

Sources FSC-certified Mpingo

Alongside precious metals, our designs incorporate Mpingo wood — a rare and beautiful material sourced from FSC-certified forests in Tanzania. Upcycled from the production of wind instruments, this black heartwood is meticulously cut and polished, offering both beauty and strength.

RJC-certified production

Each KINRADEN piece is handcrafted by experienced artisans in our state-of-the-art facility in Thailand, certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. We’ve chosen to work with a family-run atelier where craftsmanship is held in high regard, and where dignity, fairness, and equality shape every aspect of the workplace.

Offers care and repair

Each KINRADEN piece comes with a care guide, a polishing cloth, and soft cotton bag — simple tools to help preserve its beauty through time. When signs of wear appear, we offer low-cost repair services to restore each piece to its original strength and beauty. And when a piece reaches the end of its life, we encourage returning it to us — so that the materials can be responsibly remelted or repurposed within our own studio.

Reuses and redesigns pieces

When a piece is discontinued, it is returned to the workshop — metals are melted down and refined again, wooden stones are carefully removed and repurposed. This quiet, circular process is at the heart of how we work.

Uses biodegradable materials

The Mpingo wood we use is treated only with beeswax, allowing it to biodegrade naturally. Offcuts and unused pieces gently return to the soil, leaving no lasting trace. We also avoid any coating our precious metals that would hinder recyclability.
